Founder Story

Sahar Mansoor

Sahar Mansoor is the CEO and founder of Bare Necessities, a zero-waste, circular economy, and sustainability-focused social enterprise. Her company provides zero-waste personal care, wellness, home care goods and services, and online conservation training. Sahar co-wrote ‘Bare Necessities: How to Live a Zero-Waste Life.’ 

In 2014, Sahar earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge, and in 2018, she completed the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Course. Sahar also earned diplomas in environmental planning and political science from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, in 2013.
