Founder Story
Truebrown, Gurugram-based label, was established in 2016 by Udita Bansal with the intention of embracing inclusion in all spectrums, their product selection spans a wide size range. Udita Bansal graduated from NIFT and received her education in the apparel sector. She acknowledged the lack of a preferred brand for youthful ethnic clothing. She sought to create a product that was both contemporary in its design and loyal to our heritage. From there, the thought to launch trueBrowns emerged. TrueBrowns combines traditional clothing with a modern aesthetic. Their distinctive blending of materials, themes, hues, and silhouettes is ideal for both celebratory and casual situations.
IndianRetailer.com has recognised Udita’s brand as one of the top 100 D2C brands for 2022.
The design team at The Truebrown Label successfully runs its own in-house manufacturing facility where they produce the designer line.
